A family in Orchard Park, New York, is urgently seeking information about their 13-year-old daughter, Vayda Safee, who was reportedly last seen while riding her bicycle in the Knoche Farm development. According to the family, Vayda left home for a bike ride at approximately 12:50 p.m. and has not been seen since. Her disappearance is described as highly unusual, prompting an urgent search and appeal for help from the community.
Vayda is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has brown, shoulder-length hair, which may have been pulled into a low ponytail. At the time she was reportedly last seen, Vayda was wearing a bright light-blue tank top, black shorts, gray Skechers sneakers, and coral or pink glasses. She was riding a baby-blue, non-electric bicycle.
Residents near Knoche Farm, Milestrip Road, and Transit Road are being asked to carefully check their properties, including yards, garages, sheds, and other areas where a bicycle could have been left. Homeowners are also encouraged to review doorbell and security-camera footage for any activity around or after 12:50 p.m.
Anyone who was driving through the area around the time Vayda disappeared is also asked to consider whether they may have seen a young girl matching her description riding a blue bicycle. The family is asking the public to share the missing-person appeal widely. Anyone who has seen Vayda or has information that could assist in locating her should contact local law enforcement immediately. Even information that appears minor could potentially help investigators find her and bring her home safely.
